Bubba x Skunk
Bubba x Skunk
Also known as: Bubba X Skunk
Overview
Bubba x Skunk is a specialized hybrid strain created by crossing the original Bubba Kush clone with a classic Skunk variety. This strain was developed by the Old School Breeders Association as an evenly balanced hybrid (50% indica/50% sativa) that addresses some of the original Bubba Kush's limitations in cultivation. The breeding effort was specifically designed to speed up vegetation times, add height, and increase yields compared to the notoriously slow-growing original Bubba Kush. The resulting hybrid is a faster, larger version of Bubba Kush, with pungent, sweet-smelling buds and a nice hybrid high with uplifting cerebral effects and a relaxing body high. The strain features super sticky bright green and dark purple nugs, maintaining the visual appeal of its Bubba Kush lineage while incorporating the vigorous growth characteristics of Skunk genetics. This combination has created a strain that is both potent and practical for cultivation, making it popular among both recreational users and medical patients seeking relief from various conditions.

Growing Information
Bubba x Skunk is considered a forgiving strain for cultivation with good resistance to various conditions. The strain has a flowering period of 8 to 10 weeks and yields between 12 to 14 ounces of buds per square meter indoors. Outdoor cultivation in the northern hemisphere produces at least 14 ounces per plant with harvest typically occurring from mid to late October. The strain shows a 50-75% height increase during flowering and produces good to excellent yields. For indoor growers, this means faster growth rates and bigger yields compared to the original Bubba Kush, with the Skunk genetics providing a stronger desire for the plants to get big faster. Outdoors or in greenhouses, the plants stand up better to a wider variety of conditions, making them more reliable producers. The strain is suitable for both Sea of Green (SOG) and Screen of Green (SCROG) methods and responds well to training techniques.
