Bubba Kush Auto Strain inherits its genetics from White Widow Autoflower and Pre-98 Bubba Kush, resulting from the cross between a White Widow Autoflower x Pre 98 Bubba Kush creating an autoflower variety. The original Bubba Kush emerged just after 1996, when an OG Kush pollinated an unknown indica strain obtained in New Orleans, with the mother plant supposedly being Northern Lights. This autoflowering version maintains the essential characteristics that have made Bubba Kush famous while adding the convenience of automatic flowering.
The strain is predominantly an indica (90% Indica / 10% Sativa) and inherits the indica heavy genetics from its parent, Bubba Kush, known for its relaxing and sedative effects. Bubba Kush exhibits a distinctive, bulky bud structure with hues that range from forest green to pale purple, featuring oversized and airy heart-shaped dark olive green nugs with long thin bright orange hairs and a coating of tiny white crystal trichomes. Despite the ruderalis biology, Bubba Kush Autoflowering delivers very impressive potency for such a small and unimposing cannabis plant, forming a dense mid-sized cola.
