Bubba Fett
Bubba Fett
Also known as: Pre-98 Bubba Kush
Overview
This hybrid strain was first bred in Colorado by Green Dream Cannabis and is named after Boba Fett, a bounty hunter in Star Wars. It contains around 70% indica and 30% sativa genetics, making it an indica-dominant (70%-30%) hybrid with a potency of up to 29% THC. Bubba Fett seamlessly captures the essence of its legendary lineage, featuring Pre-98 Bubba Kush crossed with a Stardawg male. The strain is considered Colorado-only strain and should not be confused with Boba Fett or Bubba Fett OG, two indica-dominant hybrids with completely different lineages.
Bubba Fett's visual appeal lies in its dense, resinous buds. These popcorn-shaped nugs exhibit a vibrant lime green hue with striking orange pistils weaving through the foliage. The buds are generously coated with glistening trichomes, emphasizing potency. Its appeal lies in its potent physical effects and layered notes of berry, earth, skunk, and pine. This strain induces a deep sense of full-body relaxation and sedation, coupled with a calm and euphoric mental state. It's known to deliver heavy couch-lock, which almost guarantees a night of deep sleep. It's routinely one of the highest testers on the shelf at dispensaries, and like ol' Bubba, the Fett has extremely sedative effects.

Growing Information
Bubba Fett represents a photoperiod marijuana strain with a relatively short flowering time of 45-50 days. You'll need to provide this strain with 12 hours of light per day during its vegetative cycle, which should take about 6-8 weeks. Once it enters flowering, your plants will benefit from 18 hours of light per day. The flowering time for Bubba Fett plants is typically around nine weeks. Bubba Fett is not only suitable for indoor growing, but it's almost preferred. This short strain thrives within moderately warm temperatures, which are best maintained with indoor set-ups. Bubba Fett grows to a manageable medium height and is considered a high-yielding strain. Under the right conditions, the plant can yield a generous number of buds. For indoor growers, it yields on average 0.5-1.3oz per square foot, while outdoor growers can yield up to 20 ounces per plant. Growing Bubba Fett is immensely difficult so it should be reserved for the most experienced growers. The optimum temperature for growth is between 70-80°F. Humidity levels should be controlled to prevent mold growth, particularly during the flowering stage.
