Bubba Diagonal
Bubba Diagonal
Also known as: Bubba Kush Diagonal
Overview
Bubba Diagonal was created by Grassroots Cannabis through crossing Triangle Kush with Bubba (Bubba Kush). This indica-dominant hybrid combines the robust qualities of Triangle Kush and Bubba strains, emerging as a primarily indica-dominant hybrid revered for its potent therapeutic and calming effects. Bubba (also called Bubba Kush) originated in the Hindu Kush mountains and is best known for its powerfully sedating effects, serving as one of the go-to strains for medical marijuana patients with chronic pain, depression, and insomnia. The other parent, Triangle Kush, is a Florida cannabis strain that shows off all the elements of a classic Kush, providing a wave of energy that is quickly followed by relaxation, all accompanied by the famous diesel aroma of its Kush lineage.
Bubba Diagonal buds are characterized by light green coloration with orange hairs running through them, featuring small dense buds with purple and vivid green foliage with amber hairs. The buds display vibrant shades of royal purple woven among various green hues, are very dense and coated in vivid amber hairs, as well as a generous amount of frosty trichomes. With THC levels ranging from 19% to 25% (with some samples reaching up to 27%), this strain is categorized as moderately to highly potent, with generally low CBD content. Bubba Diagonal maintains a 70/30 indica-to-sativa ratio, making it a predominantly indica strain that is best enjoyed in the evening.

Growing Information
Bubba Diagonal thrives both indoors and outdoors, with its robust genetic makeup providing adaptability to different climatic conditions. Many cultivators report flowering times between 8 to 10 weeks, which is somewhat standard for indica-dominant hybrids. This strain is fairly easy to grow, making it a great option for both beginner and experienced cultivators. When grown indoors, it can yield around 450-550g/m², while outdoors growers can expect yields ranging from 500-600g per plant. It's important to maintain a warm, dry environment for best results, with harvest time falling in early September for outdoor grows. The strain enjoys a warm and humid environment (70-85°F and 40-50% humidity). Bubba Diagonal grows to a medium height and provides a relatively high yield, making it an excellent strain for growers looking for good returns.
