Bomb Threat
Bomb Threat
Also known as: #7
Overview
Bomb Threat (also known as #7) is an indica-dominant cannabis strain with an intriguing origin story. Originally developed as a Bubba Kush S1 selection, this strain was discovered when a batch of Bubba Kush self-pollinated seeds were grown out and tested. She was the seventh phenotype of that batch, hence the original name "#7," before being renamed Bomb Threat. The strain was selected by "Veg n Out" and his partner from approximately 20 different S1 phenotypes around 2006. This particular selection was recognized for its exceptional characteristics and even placed in a High Times Cup in San Francisco under Archive's brand.
Bomb Threat exhibits the classic characteristics of its Bubba Kush lineage with striking green and purple buds covered in golden hairs and an abundance of sticky trichomes that make the buds almost as clingy as bubblegum. The strain produces dense, resin-coated flowers that are visually appealing and highly potent. Its flavor profile is distinctive, combining hashish-like, gritty, and nutty taste notes with sweet undertones, creating a complex and satisfying smoking experience. The strain's terpene profile is dominated by myrcene, caryophyllene, and limonene, which contribute to its unique aroma blending earthy, coffee, and spicy notes with occasional lemony-lime undertones.

Growing Information
Bomb Threat requires some growing experience and thrives best under well-monitored conditions. It can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors, with indoor growing providing better environmental control. Indoor plants typically reach medium height and benefit from regular pruning for adequate light penetration and air circulation. Outdoor cultivation works well in warm, sunny climates where plants can grow taller. The strain has a flowering time of approximately 8-9 weeks and produces high yields of dense, resin-coated buds. Proper feeding schedules and humidity control are essential to maximize the potential of this powerful strain. Growers should expect sticky, trichome-heavy flowers that require careful handling during harvest and processing.
