The strain emerged from extensive phenotype hunting involving thousands of plants, combining genetics from Slurricane and Purple Panty Dropper (PPD) through careful selection and backcrossing over three generations. The breeding process involved going back to the foundational genetics used to create Blueberry Muffin, specifically the Purple Panty Dropper/Razzleberry cross, then incorporating Slurricane to achieve the distinctive sweet syrup terpene profile. The buds display curly, fern and olive-green leaves with bright orange pistils meshed together with amber trichome hairs, creating dense purplish olive nugs decorated with bright blue undertones and frosty crystal trichomes. This strain is considered a sibling to the cult classic Blueberry Muffin, sharing similar genetics but bred specifically to emphasize the sweet syrup characteristics alongside the blueberry profile.
