Blue Pavé is an indica-dominant hybrid strain created by Compound Genetics as part of their prestigious Pavé collection that crosses several elite hybrids from Compound Genetics' outstanding genetic library to the reversal of their famous Pavé strain. This strain represents a collaborative strain with Quavo from the Migos, Cookies & Compound Genetics, demonstrating its cultural significance and premium genetic pedigree. The strain was developed by crossing Azul, aka Azul Runtz, an illusive clone-only strain never released to the public yet has remained highly sought-after, with the celebrated Pavé parent strain. The Azul Runtz mother is a sativa-leaning hybrid that expresses a wild blueberry terp that was an obvious choice to pair with the gassy, earthy, minty and funky Pavé that has excellent resin production and hashing potential.
Blue Pavé's visual appeal is striking, featuring dense flowers with spear shaped tops and plenty of sites packed closely together running down the long branches carrying a decent yield with good leaf to flower ratio. Gorgeous purple shades with an excellent resin production, in full bloom they look crystallized and majestic. The strain displays dense and colorful flowers, showcasing deep purple hues and vibrant orange pistils with chunky, resinous buds that glisten with trichomes. Blue Pavé can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with plants needing a flowering time of ±63 days, typically finishing flowering between week eight and week nine. As far as cultivation, it's moderately difficult to grow. The strain shows typical OG Kush hybrid growth with fast development and stretched x2/3 from the veg size once introduced into flowering. Plants respond well to training techniques, requiring medium to heavy feeding and responded to 'topping' and training techniques with ease, also needed branch support early on into the flowering cycle. It produces medium to high yields and typically stays compact and finishes flowering in about 8–9 weeks. Available only as feminized seeds, making cultivation more predictable for growers.
