Blue Orca Haze
Blue Orca Haze
Overview
Blue Orca Haze is an mostly sativa from Swami Organic Seed and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors. It is created from Coot's Blue Orca (1983 Brotherhood of Eternal Love breeding) pollinated with an F2 NL#5 x Neville's Haze male from 1991. The lineage of Blue Orca Haze is impressive, with roots tracing back to the robust Afghani and the exotic 76 Thai Stick strains, specifically the Pre Soviet 1971 Kandahar Afghani x 1976 Thai Stick 'Blue Orca'. This is a serious NL#5/Haze upgrade in taste and effect, and quite successful at mellowing the classic teeth clenching anxiety of the Haze. Blue Orca is a Clone Only from 1983/1984 from BOEL Breeding, and along with her sister, The ONE are the world's oldest clones. Blue Orca Haze presents a visually stunning bud structure that immediately catches the eye. The buds are dense and well-formed, typical of high-quality hybrids, showcasing a blend of vibrant colours. Shades of deep green are interspersed with bright orange pistils, creating a striking contrast. Highly resinous flowers with a subtle hazy, yet more a sweet exotic incense scent. Smoke is all old school and predominantly Thai/haze, with deep indica bass notes surfacing after. A proper cure delivers some of the finest smoke on earth.

Growing Information
Blue Orca Haze can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of 56-80 days (approximately 8-11 weeks). Large F1 polyhybrid vigor plants that quickly propagate and develop resinous and often large flowers. Plants can be flowered small or large with yields up to 1/2 lb in a 5 gallon pot. Some growers have consistently achieved 1/2 pound in a 5 gallon pot, while outdoor light deprivation grows can yield up to 1 lb per plant. Blue Orca Haze thrives in a warm, sunny environment with temperatures ranging from 21 to 26 degrees Celsius (70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit). Indoor growing requires maintaining stable temperatures between 20 to 25 degrees Celsius (68 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit) and humidity levels around 40-50% during vegetative stage and 30-40% during flowering. This strain shows significant phenotypic variation and benefits from strong lighting and adequate space due to stretch during flowering.
