Overview
Blue Nina is one of Colorado Seed Inc.'s excellent Blue Dream crosses. This sativa-dominant hybrid cross between Blue Dream and Nina Limone offers energetic effects and complicated fruity flavors. Blue Nina is an evenly balanced hybrid (50% indica/50% sativa) strain created through crossing the classic Blue Dream and the delicious Nina Limone strains. The strain was developed by Colorado Seed Inc. as part of their exploration of Blue Dream's genetics.
Blue Nina buds are beautiful to behold as well, with oversized minty green nugs that have rich blue undertones and are completely coated with fuzzy amber hairs and matching crystal trichomes. This plant has been known to grow into Haze and Blueberry dominant phenotypes, both coated in dense crystals and bright orange hairs. The strain combines the best characteristics of its lineage: Blue Nina brings together the fresh blueberry flavors of Blue Dream and blends them with the earthy lemony flavors of Nina Limone for a dazzling bright flavor that will leave your mouth watering.

Blue Nina is an mostly sativa from Colorado Seed Inc. and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors (Where the plants will need a flowering time of ±56 days) Colorado Seed Inc.'s Blue Nina is/was never available as feminized seeds. It takes Blue Nina a short 7 to 9 weeks to blossom. At harvest, each square meter produces between 12 to 16 ounces of buds per square meter. A sturdy strain, Blue Nina can easily withstand the clammy, rainy, and cold weather of the northern hemisphere. It fully matures between the last week of September to the middle of October. Once ready for harvest, it yields at least 16 ounces of buds per plant. Indoor cultivators can boost yields and keep plants more manageable by using Screen of Green (ScROG) training. Blue Nina reaches full maturity in 49 to 63 days indoors and mid-October outdoors, producing up to 16 ounces of flower per plant. The strain exhibits sativa-dominant growth characteristics and benefits from height management techniques due to its stretching tendencies.
