Blue Mountain Durban is a sativa dominant hybrid strain (75% sativa/25% indica) created through crossing the classic Durban Poison X Afghani '76 X Lavender strains. Medicann Seeds developed this strain as a sativa dominant plant that can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 65 days. This bud has oversized tapered spade-shaped bright neon green nugs with light orange hairs, deep blue undertones and a coating of thick and frosty golden amber crystal trichomes. The result is a Sativa dominant cannabis plant that produces very large buds and leaves take on a blue/purple color towards the end of the flowering cycle. As you pull apart each sparkling little nugget, aromas of sour citrus and flowery earth are released with a notable hint of sweet lavender. Known for its medicinal properties, this strain offers a unique combination of the energizing effects typically associated with its Durban Poison lineage while maintaining therapeutic CBD content. Blue Mountain Durban can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 65 days (60-70 days range). Production levels are 450-550gr/m² indoor and up to 600 gr/m² outdoor. Outdoor harvest time is mid-October in the Northern hemisphere, late September in some regions, and late March to early April in the Southern hemisphere. This strain is mostly sativa and is also available as feminized seeds. This plant has a calyx to leaf ratio which makes it an easy plant to trim. The strain requires adequate space due to its sativa-dominant nature and can produce large buds. Leaves take on a blue/purple color towards the end of the flowering cycle. Suitable for both novice and experienced growers, though attention to nutrients and environmental conditions is recommended for optimal yields.
