Overview
Blue Microverse F5 is an automatic flowering ruderalis/indica/sativa variety from Night Owl Seeds that can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and in greenhouse environments, with plants needing approximately 75 days from seedling to harvest. This project was started in 2014 as an homage to Professor P of Dynasty Genetics, inspired by his Blue Magoo backcross project work. Night Owl Seeds' Blue Microverse F5 is a THC dominant variety available only as feminized seeds.
The strain's lineage traces back to Blue Magoo (a cross of DJ Short Blueberry and Major League Bud/William's Wonder F2) crossed with 24 Carat. For the F5 generation, breeders selected greasy plants with bigger and branchier structure to maximize flower production. The Blue Microverse structurally takes after the 24 Carat parent and remains extremely squat, often wider than tall, with fat, sweet flowers that finish extremely quickly.
The flowers produced are described as "fuzzy as can be," with long-stemmed trichomes carpeting every surface. Plants typically reach up to 3 feet in height with yields of 2-4 ounces, finishing in 65-75 days from sprout. The F5 generation has improved tolerance to training techniques and growers should watch for potential bud rot in the densest colas during late flower.
