Blackberry Trainwreck
Blackberry Trainwreck
Also known as: Blackberry Wreck, Black Berry Train Wreck
Overview
Blackberry Trainwreck is a balanced hybrid cannabis strain created by crossing Blackberry Kush and Trainwreck. The strain features 50/50 indica to sativa characteristics, emerging during the late 2000s to early 2010s when breeders were actively blending classic West Coast powerhouses with berry-forward indicas. The strain was developed to marry Trainwreck's cerebral electricity with the dessert-fruit profile of Blackberry Kush. Due to the mysterious origins of the strain, there needs to be more information available about Blackberry Trainwreck's growing needs, and the cultivar is primarily bred by CannaVenture Seeds. The strain produces densely packed, popcorn-like buds that exude an aroma of fresh berries, musk, and wet soil with chunky dense conical dark olive green nugs with rich purple undertones, bright amber hairs, and matching crystal trichomes. This hybrid has lots of color in the flowers - underside is dark maroon and the top side is yellow, red, maroon and purple.

Growing Information
Blackberry Trainwreck flowers in 8-10 weeks indoors and reaches maturity in late October outdoors. It will likely do well in indoor and outdoor settings as a hybrid cultivar, though this depends on the grower's skill and adequate protection from molds, mildews, and pests. Blackberry Trainwreck's parent strains are resilient to higher moisture levels and cold, so growers can assume a similar ability to thrive in different weather conditions. Indoor growers can achieve yields up to 450 grams per square meter with outdoor growers in warm climates reporting growth cycles lasting approximately 10-12 weeks from vegetative stage to harvest when conditions are optimal. The plants produce a rainbow of fall-colored leaves as it grows, with everything from dark maroon to lime green.
