Big Bertha is a hybrid cross of a pure Burmese strain and a North Indian Indica developed by Reefermans Seeds. The strain has a flowering time of 10 weeks (±70 days) and can be cultivated indoors, outdoors, and in greenhouses. It is the largest yielding strain held in the Reeferman strainbase, producing huge yields of marijuana with a very strong acidic smell. Reeferman reportedly achieved an impressive 3.5 pounds of dried cannabis from a single random Big Bertha seedling, demonstrating the strain's exceptional yield potential. The buds have an indica structure and taste of old school skunk. It has an Afghani descent and was first bred by HappSeeds farm Labs, featuring different phenotypic variations that are mostly lightly branched conic specimens with buds having hues of mossy green, yellow with candy-like red hairs and crystal white-tipped trichomes. The strain produces marijuana with a very strong acidic smell and is particularly noted for its indica dominant characteristics.
