Banana Glue
Banana Glue
Also known as: Nana Glue, Banana Glue #4
Overview
Banana Glue is a predominantly indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain (typically 70% indica, 30% sativa) created by crossing Strawberry Banana with Gorilla Glue #4. Originally developed by Growers Choice genetics, this strain has gained recognition for its exceptional resin production and potent effects. The strain combines the sweet, tropical characteristics of Strawberry Banana with the powerful, sticky properties of Gorilla Glue #4, resulting in a balanced hybrid that offers both euphoric mental effects and deep physical relaxation. Banana Glue is notable for its impressive trichome coverage and dense, resin-coated buds that exhibit vibrant green coloration with subtle purple hues and orange pistils. The strain has become popular among both recreational and medicinal users for its reliable genetics and consistent effects, though some phenotype variation has been reported by growers. Its name derives from its distinctive banana-like aroma combined with the sticky, glue-like resin production inherited from its Gorilla Glue parent.

Growing Information
Banana Glue is considered moderately easy to grow and suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. The strain has a relatively quick flowering time of 8-9 weeks, making it attractive to impatient growers. Indoor yields range from 500-700 grams per square meter, while outdoor plants can produce 400-600 grams each with harvest typically occurring in early October. Plants grow to medium height (100-180cm) with lots of side branches and abundant bud sites. The strain shows good resistance to mold and is stable with little variation between plants. It responds well to SCROG (Screen of Green) training methods but is not recommended for SOG (Sea of Green) as topping may activate more stretchy Gorilla Glue genetics. Requires good ventilation and carbon filtration due to strong odor production during flowering.
