AutoWhite Widow is a crossbreed of the classic White Widow and an autoflowering variety, representing an autoflowering version of the legendary and beloved White Widow. The original White Widow was first bred in the Netherlands by Green House Seeds in 1994, achieved by crossing a Brazilian landrace sativa with a special South Indian indica lineage. This autoflowering strain is derived from the iconic White Widow, crossed with a specially selected Ruderalis to introduce autoflowering characteristics while maintaining the core traits that made the original so popular. This hybrid offers a balanced blend of Indica and Sativa genetics, considered a hybrid strain that combines characteristics of both.
The strain exhibits the distinctive characteristics of its parent lineage, featuring compact plants with dense buds covered in trichomes, producing strong aromas during growth and dense hard buds. The buds are prolific in resin content, covered in trichomes from top to bottom, with a dark green hue and maroon brown pistils. AutoWhite Widow has a shorter life cycle, typically around 8-10 weeks from seed to harvest, and can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and greenhouse where the plants will need a flowering time of approximately 75 days.
