AutoFrisian Dew
AutoFrisian Dew
Also known as: Auto Frisian Dew
Overview
AutoFrisian Dew is an award-winning autoflowering hybrid strain developed by Dutch Passion specifically for outdoor cultivation in northern climates. AutoFrisian Dew is the autoflowering version of the outdoor best seller Frisian Dew, specially developed for outdoor growing in Northern climates. The strain took over two years to develop and was created from a strong and robust "green" phenotype of Frisian Dew, crossed with ruderalis genetics to create the autoflowering characteristics.
The strain is genetically derived from Frisian Dew (green phenotype) x Unknown Ruderalis, where the original Frisian Dew parent is itself a cross between Super Skunk and Purple Star. This bud took home 3rd Place for Best Autoflowering Strain at the 2014 High Life Cannabis Cup thanks to its stable autoflowering characteristics and enjoyable effects.
Physically, AutoFrisian Dew plants are compact and manageable, typically growing to 60-80cm, though they can grow up to 1.3m in good conditions. 90% of plants remain green, with only 10% showing purple coloration, a deliberate breeding choice to emphasize vigor over color. The strain features a large central cola and a sugary taste accented by earthy aromas, completing its lifecycle from seed to harvest in 10-11 weeks.

Growing Information
AutoFrisian Dew is specifically bred for outdoor cultivation and excels in northern European climates with excellent mold resistance. The strain has a 10-11 week seed-to-harvest cycle and grows to a manageable 60-80cm height, though can reach up to 1.3m under optimal conditions. Plants develop a strong main cola with good flower-to-leaf ratio. Standard yields are 50g+ per plant, with optimal conditions producing 100g+ per plant. The strain is hardy and robust, handling various weather conditions well. Best planted outdoors from April onwards in southern Europe, or after last frost in May for northern Europe. Suitable for greenhouse cultivation and guerrilla growing due to its resilience. Difficulty level is considered easy to moderate, making it suitable for both beginner and experienced growers.
