Auto White Widow x Big Bud is an autoflowering indica-dominant hybrid strain developed by Female Seeds as an automatic flowering version of their world bestselling White Widow x Big Bud. The strain was created by crossing two emblematic genetics with a Ruderalis gene to obtain a non-photoperiod dependent plant, featuring genetics of {White Widow x Big Bud} x Unknown Ruderalis. This poly-hybrid represents a combination of the best genetics of two truly iconic strains of cannabis, with high yield and skunky taste from Big Bud genetics, and powerful effect and smell from White Widow genes.
Released as part of Female Seeds' X-line collection in 2010, this strain has quickly moved to their permanent collection due to massive popularity and remained their top seller. This strain and Auto Northern Lights are considered two of the best autoflowering strains for good reason, with vigorous plants producing enormous buds with glistening trichomes. The plants start with an open structure then fill out completely from bottom to top, with flowering time of approximately 55-65 days whether grown indoor or outdoor. Users can expect enormous resin production from huge, tight buds that develop a strong, pungent smell during flowering stage.

Easy to moderate difficulty cultivation suitable for all experience levels. Can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with flowering time of approximately 56 days. Yields up to 120g per plant outdoors after 10-11 weeks from germination, or 300-400g/m² indoors. Plants remain compact at 80-90cm tall, making them suitable for limited space environments. Should avoid extremely humid areas and requires big enough pots with properly aerated substrate. Not recommended for outdoor growing in high humidity during late flowering due to mold susceptibility. Autoflower grows for two weeks then starts flowering automatically for about 8 weeks, making it good for less experienced growers.
