Auto Tangerine is a sativa-dominant autoflowering hybrid developed by BSB Genetics, created by crossing Tangerine Dream with an unknown ruderalis cultivar. Introduced to the BSB menu in 2015, this strain quickly became one of their top-selling autoflowering varieties, even ranking as the second best-selling auto variety in 2015. The strain combines the classic citrus-forward genetics of the Tangerine lineage with the automatic flowering characteristics of ruderalis, resulting in a fast-finishing plant that maintains the bright tangerine bouquet of its famous parentage. Auto Tangerine exhibits a stocky-medium frame typical of autoflowers, with pronounced secondary branching and dense, resinous buds. The plants typically reach heights of 80-90cm and display vibrant neon green leaves adorned with frosty trichomes and dark orange pistils. The strain's genetic architecture reflects a balanced ruderalis/indica/sativa heritage, allowing it to initiate flowering by age rather than photoperiod, typically within three to four weeks from sprout while maintaining excellent bud density and terpene production.
