Auto Stardawg
Auto Stardawg
Also known as: Stardawg Auto, Auto Star Dawg, Stardog Auto
Overview
Auto Stardawg is a sativa-dominant hybrid originally bred from Chemdawg 4 and Tres Dawg, later developed into an autoflowering version with ruderalis genetics. This strain became famous for having everything going for it - from its pungent aroma to dense buds with more resin than both its parents, literally becoming a star in the cannabis community. The autoflowering version continues the tradition of its lineage and earned third place in the Neurocopa in 2017. The strain likely got its name from both the crystalline trichomes that coat the buds (appearing like stars) and its Chem/TresDAWG lineage. The herb appears dense and heavily frosted with resin, so much so that the dark green color with red/orange hairs is difficult to see beneath the coating of trichomes. With THC levels extending beyond 22 percent, this strain is not recommended for first-time users and is regarded as a star performer for its distinctive aroma that includes pungent, fuel-like fragrances considered exceptional in cannabis circles.

Growing Information
Auto Stardawg is ideal for novices and professionals alike, willingly tolerating training methods while being forgiving of beginner mistakes. Experienced growers can use SOG or LST techniques. Expect to harvest around week 9 or 10, and ensure to start flushing a couple of weeks before harvest. Plants reach about 5.9 feet (1.8m) tall and finish flowering in 9-10 weeks. Indoor yields run around 0.98 oz/ft² (300 g/m²), while outdoor plants can produce up to 26 oz (750g) per plant under ideal conditions. The strain thrives in stable, well-ventilated spaces with temperatures between 70-80°F (21-27°C) during the day, dropping to 60-70°F (16-21°C) at night. Growers may want to invest in a carbon filter because the strain can be quite strong smelling.
