Auto Low Widow
Auto Low Widow
Also known as: Low Widow
Overview
Auto Low Widow is a cannabis hybrid strain created by crossing the famous Amsterdam classic White Widow with Lowryder #2, producing an autoflowering variety with mostly indica genetics. This strain was developed as an autoflowering variant that completes its life cycle from seed to harvest in approximately 10 weeks, making it ideal for small spaces and sea of green setups. Like its White Widow parent, the plants produce uniformly growing buds that become covered in sparkling resin crystals resembling "a blanket of frost on the morning grass."
The strain inherits its autoflowering characteristics from Lowryder #2, which was itself created by crossing cannabis ruderalis with Northern Lights #2 and William's Wonder. Lowryder #2 incorporated superior genetics from the Brazilian Santa Maria strain to contribute increased resin production potential, exotic flavour, and a special soaring sativa high. This genetic foundation provides Auto Low Widow with robust autoflowering traits while maintaining the resinous qualities and balanced effects associated with the White Widow lineage. As an autoflowering strain, there can be no error in vegetative growth as this stage is automatically determined through the autoflowering genetics, producing very uniform bud development.

Growing Information
Auto Low Widow has a flowering period of 8 weeks and takes 10 weeks total from seed to harvest, making it a fast-growing strain suitable for beginners. Plants typically reach heights of 50-100cm indoors and yield 50-70 grams per plant. Research suggests optimal performance under a 20-hour light schedule. The strain performs well in small spaces and is ideal for sea of green (SOG) setups. As an autoflowering variety, it requires no photoperiod manipulation and the vegetative stage is automatically determined by genetics. The strain is considered beginner-friendly due to its forgiving autoflowering nature and compact growth characteristics inherited from both parent strains.
