Appletizer is a unique autoflowering cannabis strain developed by Mephisto Genetics through crossing Glitter Apples (Grease Monkey x Sour Apple IBL) from Alien Genetics with their proprietary Samsquanch OG F4. This indica-dominant hybrid represents Mephisto's effort to expand their flavor profile catalog with a distinctive sour apple candy characteristic. The strain was first conceived in 2018 when Mephisto acquired Glitter Apples seeds, though the project was delayed until 2021 due to various complications. Appletizer showcases classic OG growth characteristics with dense, tightly packed floral clusters at the top and increasing node spacing down the plant. The strain requires approximately 80 days from seed to harvest and can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors, typically yielding between 50-90 grams per plant. The buds develop exceptional trichome production late in flowering, producing sticky resin with an almost nose-searing sourness balanced by sweet apple notes. After curing, the strain reveals its full aromatic complexity with pronounced sour apple candy flavors followed by gassy undertones, creating what the breeder describes as a 'clean, pungent, and lip-smacking' experience. The plant exhibits a classic bushy indica growth profile, making it suitable for various growing environments.
