Overview
Appleberry is a rare indica-dominant hybrid strain (75% indica/25% sativa) developed by Sumo Seeds. The strain was created by crossing (Dynamite x Bubblicious) x White Widow, where Dynalicious was first produced by breeding Dynamite (Super Skunk x White Widow) with Bubblicious (which contains Mexican, Colombian, and Afghani genetics), then further stabilized by crossing with White Widow Original. This exceptional strain won 1st place in the "Bio" category at the 2016 Highlife Cup in Amsterdam.
The strain exemplifies its name with an aroma that smells of subtle apple and berry, featuring fresh berries and sweet tart apples, while the aroma is very earthy with a floral overtone accented by berries and herbs. Visually, Appleberry is striking with tapered neon green pepper-shaped nugs covered in furry dark orange hairs and a super thick frosty coating of tiny bright white crystal trichomes, with the nugs being so trichome-crusted they look white, with glimmers of purple and green visible when looking closely. Developed by the innovative breeders at Sumo Seeds, this strain has quickly garnered attention in the cannabis community for bridging the gap between classic indica traditions and modern breeding techniques.

Appleberry has a flowering time of 8-9.5 weeks indoors due to its indica dominance, and is ready for outdoor harvest in late September or early October (earlier in southern countries). This strain is one of the best yielding varieties, producing 400-500g/m² indoors and 600-750 grams per plant outdoors when grown in sunny areas. Plants grow to 110-130cm indoors and 140-180cm outdoors. It's a very homogenous strain with little variation between phenotypes - one phenotype is compact and short while another has a slightly more sativa look with more stretched plants. Suitable for SOG or SCROG growing methods and can be grown both indoors and outdoors. Buds are very dense, so moisture should be kept as low as possible, and the strain is very stable making it easy to clone.
