Apple Fritter is a rare evenly balanced hybrid strain created by Lumpy's Flowers in Northern California around 2013, produced through crossing Sour Apple and Animal Cookies. Best known for making the High Times' 2016 "World's Strongest Strains" List, this strain has gained considerable recognition in the cannabis community. In 2016, Apple Fritter by Lumpy's Flowers won 2nd Place in the Hybrids category at the Northern California High Times Cannabis Cup. One distinctive aspect of Apple Fritter's history is that the original genetics were distributed exclusively as clones, remaining a clone-only variety for much of its early history, which contributed to its scarcity and strong demand among West Coast cultivators.
This bud displays spade-shaped dark olive green nugs with deep purple undertones, vivid orange hairs and a coating of tiny white crystal trichomes.
