Apollo Haze
Apollo Haze
Also known as: Golden Haze
Overview
Apollo Haze is a collaborative creation of Brothers Grimm Seeds and their internet friend "has_some_sense," created by crossing the famous Genius clone with a Super Silver Grail Haze male plant. Mr. Soul of Brothers Grimm Seeds had previously shut down operations for over a decade due to security concerns and legality issues, but reopened in 2015 in Colorado, retrieving all of his stashed clones to begin operations again. The Super Silver Grail Haze male parent was the result of crossing a keeper Cinderella 99 female dubbed "The Grail" with a very select Super Silver Haze male, which added potency, vigorous growth, and large, strong branches to the progeny.
Apollo Haze is a sativa-dominant hybrid strain, with genetics typically showing around 70% sativa. The strain exhibits two distinct phenotypes: one with spicy, citrusy, and fuel-like flavors, while the other presents aromas of tropical fruit, elderberry, and classic haze characteristics. This daytime strain is known for its medium-large olive green buds with thick, prominent orange pistils, with approximately one-third of the buds becoming incredibly oversized during flowering and developing an unfathomably thick resin layer. The result was a batch of cannabis which produced potent, heady highs with no crash, making it valued both for its impressive yields and exceptional psychoactive properties.

Growing Information
Apollo Haze has a flowering time of 63-70 days (approximately 9-10 weeks). The strain is known to be a heavy yielder with vigorous growth and strong branches, though both phenotypes require the same care. Indoor growing typically yields around 300 grams per plant with heights of 60-80 inches, while outdoor cultivation can produce approximately 400 grams per plant with heights reaching up to 90 inches. In early vegetative state, Apollo Haze pushes rapidly skyward with strong apical dominance, initially appearing like a beanpole before side branches develop, resulting in a squat, conical pine tree-style frame suitable for various growing environments. The plant is categorized as a hungry but manageable feeder, showing fondness for calcium and magnesium during vegetative growth and performing best with consistent, moderate feedings through flower. The plant naturally develops a single dominant cola that needs support, as do the lateral branches, which may snap under the weight of the resinous, large flowers.
