Anaphylaxis is a hybrid cannabis strain developed by Mass Medical Strains in collaboration with ThugPug genetics. This unique strain crosses Peanut Butter Breath with the rare and potent Deadly Sativa, creating a predominantly sativa-leaning hybrid that won third place Indoor Organic Flower at the GGG Organic Cup in 2020. While the Deadly Sativa remains dominant in flavor, aroma, yield, and vigor, the Peanut Butter Breath adds insane density and trichome coverage, to appeal to the modern trendy indica bud look and sativa connoisseur heads alike.
The strain produces dense and resin-heavy buds with a thick coating of trichomes that gives each nug a frosted, crystalline appearance. Plants typically exhibit purple/black coloration at harvest time and require 9-10 weeks to reach full maturity. Growing characteristics include a mostly sativa structure that can be cultivated indoors, outdoors, and in greenhouse environments, with medium-tall height and excellent response to topping techniques. Plants typically exhibit a medium-tall stature and flower in about 9 to 10 weeks depending on phenotype. The strain responds well to topping, promoting a fuller, bushier structure that can lead to higher yields and is considered resilient and flexible, making it ideal for both skilled cultivators and those newer to growing exotic strains. This is a very high yielding strain with super dense and frosty buds, plants put on a colorful fade for the last few weeks, and shows vigorous growth with a 2.5 to 3x stretch typical, with large buds filling out all the way to the bottom of the plant.
