Overview
Amnesika 2.0 is the evolution of the first variety Amnesika, developed by Spanish breeder Philosopher Seeds. With the clear objective to increase production and shorten the flowering stage, breeders crossed Amnesia 'Cordovan' with the famous Critical Mass from Mr. Nice. This strain is born from a hybrid between Amnesia Haze and Critical Mass, providing production and stability while shortening the flowering time.
This is a sativa dominant strain that contains 70% sativa and 30% indica genetics. The plant develops a branchy structure with medium internodal distance and few leaves. As the buds swell, the plant acquires a glossy sheen, and the buds boast a glue-like stickiness. Amnesika 2.0 was awarded the 3rd Prize for Best Sativa at 2012 ExpoGrow Cannabis Cup, Irún.
Amnesika 2.0 offers a combination of Skunk and Haze flavors. It has an aftertaste of nuts, particularly reminiscent of hazelnut. Flowering time is 55-65 days indoors. Indoor yield reaches 500-600 gr/m2, while outdoor yield can reach 600-2000 gr/plant. Outdoor harvest occurs in early October in Northern Hemisphere and early April in Southern Hemisphere. The strain perfectly suits growing indoors, on balconies and terraces and outdoors where it demonstrates energetic growth. It is ideal for the SOG method with 25-30 plants per square meter. Plants can grow up to two meters tall when planted directly in the ground. The strain is considered easy to grow and suitable for novice cultivators due to its stable genetics from Critical Mass parentage.
