Overview
Amnesiac is a sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain developed by Spliff Seeds from an Amnesia clone (Amnesia x Neville's Haze). The strain was bred to address stability issues with pure Amnesia genetics by crossing it with Super Silver Haze, one of Amnesia's ancestors. The result is that 90% of plants are stable with 10% of the phenos being slightly taller. This strain maintains a 70% sativa and 30% indica composition, inheriting the complex genetic lineage of (Amnesia x Neville's Haze) x Super Silver Haze. Amnesiac produces true indica-style buds that are rock-hard, compact and heavy. The plant has very few leaves which makes it easy to manicure, with widely set apart fan leaves that are narrow and serrated with a medium to dark green color. Its sativa-dominant genetics are clearly expressed in terms of height, leaf structure and cannabinoid levels.

Amnesiac is rated as medium difficulty to grow with a flowering time of 9-11 weeks (approximately 70 days). Indoor cultivation typically yields 400-500 grams per square meter with plants reaching heights of 1.60+ meters. For outdoor growing in Zone E, harvest time is October/November with plants reaching 2.00-3.00 meters in height and yielding 250-400 grams per plant. When going into flowering after the plant has reached 20 cm in height, top 5-6 pairs of leaves to make the plant bushier and to shorten its height. The plant flourishes in both indoor and outdoor environments, particularly in Outdoor Zone C.
