Alien Moon Pie is an indica-dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) originally bred by In House Genetics through crossing Alien Moonshine (also known as Aliens on Moonshine) with Black Cherry Pie. The strain emerged during the early 2010s when breeders sought to create a cultivar with potent indica characteristics, drawing inspiration from classic moon-inspired names and flavors. This beautifully potent indica strain features a gorgeous appearance and amazing flavor profile that appeals to discerning cannabis patients.
Alien Moon Pie buds are thick and sticky, with coiled lime and fern-green leaves. The buds are absolutely drenched in webs of white crystal trichomes, as if cotton has been strung around them, and then littered with orange furry pistils. The thick, cotton-like trichome strands are tinted with a shade of light-orange from the pistils blended within them. The buds themselves are small and tight grape-shaped forest green nuggets with thick light amber hairs and a super frosty coating of chunky, amber-tinted white crystal trichomes. The strain has built a reputation for being particularly potent, with some batches testing at approximately 24% THC, though levels can reach as high as 28-33% in certain phenotypes.
