Alien Cheese
Alien Cheese
Also known as: Alien Formaggio
Overview
Alien Cheese is a strain bred by Obsoul33t Genetics, created from a combination of either Blue Cheese or UK Cheese and Alien Rift, though some sources indicate it was developed from Alien OG (or Alien Technology) and UK Cheese. This gives the strain a genetic line overflowing with Afghani indica landraces and sativa landraces from Mexico and Colombia, with Skunk #1 as a direct relative. Obsoul33t is a breeder out of Oregon, best known as the originators of the famous Alien Technology strain, and according to legend, they got their first taste of the Afghan landrace strain that would become the Alien phenotypes when a U.S. soldier returned from serving in Afghanistan with the seeds.
The buds of Alien Cheese are a visual feast, showcasing densely packed structures adorned with a captivating palette of vibrant greens and deep purples. A thick layer of sparkling white trichomes covers the buds, punctuated by bright-orange pistils. Alien Cheese is an indica-leaning hybrid known for its relaxing and euphoria-inducing effects, with fans seeking it out for its unmistakably cheesy nose, dense resin-packed flowers, and a relaxing but mentally engaging high. Potency varies by phenotype and cultivation practices, with consumers typically encountering total THC in the 18–24% range, with standout lots occasionally exceeding 25%, though some sources report THC content landing anywhere from 14% to 30%.

Growing Information
Alien Cheese has a moderate flowering time, typically taking around 8 to 9 weeks for the plants to fully mature and be ready for harvest. This relatively short flowering period makes it a popular choice among growers who are looking for a quicker turnaround. Most cuts flower in 8–9 weeks (56–63 days), with some Alien-dominant phenotypes ripening closer to day 63–70 for maximum resin density. Indoor yields of 450–600 g/m² are achievable under high-intensity lighting with training, while outdoor plants can produce 500–800 g per plant in temperate climates. Alien Cheese Bus variants are described as easy strains to cultivate, suitable for growers of all experience levels, and well-suited for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, developing dense, trichome-rich buds. The strain's lineage suggests it may inherit robust growth characteristics and resilience against various climates.
