Overview
Afgooey, also known as "Afgoo" and "Afghan Goo," is a potent indica-dominant marijuana strain that is believed to descend from Afghani and Maui Haze. The Afgooey is a famous cut from Northern California. This genetic is the result of the cross between Afghan x Maui Haze. This strain is characterized by a 70% Indica/30% Sativa ratio. We are the first to present this strain, until now a clone-only strain, in feminized seeds after successfully reversing it and crossing it onto itself (S1). Afgooey (aka Afghooey, Afgoo, Af-Gooey, Afghan Goo) is an mostly indica from Clone Only Strains and can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and greenhouse Clone Only Strains's Afgooey is/was clone only available as feminized seeds. Until recently, this legendary strain could only be grown as a clone, from clippings taken from existing plants. Several online retailers now sell seeds of Afgooey. The afgooey buds are usually covered in trichomes that have a greenish-purple tint, and they are dense and sticky. These exceptionally sticky nuggets are a pale olive-green hue accentuated by a crust of golden trichomes and brilliant warm-tangelo pistils. They offer a bountiful bouquet of tangy orange and sour grapefruit. When properly cured, buds of Afgooey reek of damp earth and wood. Some faintly skunky notes also lurk underneath to lend some pungency. Bringing up or grinding these sticky buds yields a hint of spice and pepper, likely passed on from the Haze in this strain's genetics. Given its hashy bouquet, Afgooey burns with a surprisingly smooth smoke that tastes of sweet pine on the exhale.

Afgoo can take an average of about 8 to 9 weeks to flower and be ready for a fruitful harvest. Afgoo grown outdoors can be expected to yield around 35 ounces per plant, provided it gets the warm and sunny mediterranean climate it desires. This indica dominant strain is usually ready for a harvest around late September to early October. Afgoo yields 32oz/ m2 indoors and 35oz/ plant outdoors. The Afgoo weed strain thrives in a semi-humid environment with daytime temperatures between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. However, its landrace genetics allow this strain to survive colder temperatures. Expect eight to nine weeks if flowering indoors. Being an indica-dominant strain, Afgoo plants are textbook indica with a short, bushy structure and densely packed buds. Afgoo grows like a true indica strain, so it won't reach an impressive height, likely around 40 to 50 inches tall. The Afgooey can take high EC levels, and is very good for Sea of Green or for Scrog systems.
