Af-Pak
Af-Pak
Also known as: Afpak, Af-Pak Hashplant
Overview
Af-Pak, named after its Afghani and Pakistani genetics (hence the name AF-PAK), is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain that instantly provides strong calming benefits. The strain is comprised of 70% indica and 30% sativa genetics, representing a combination of Afghan and Pakistani landrace strains created by Heritage Seeds. Considered to be an Indica-dominant hybrid, this medical marijuana strain was actually vended as Private Reserve (dispensaries private stash) — and rightfully so, with its perfect manicure and sweet aroma.
The tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) levels of Af-Pak are moderate at around 21%, only slightly higher than average, with the strain containing moderate THC, CBD, and CBG. THC levels are high in this potent strain: upwards of 20%, while CBD levels are very low, less than 1%. Af-Pak plants are beautiful and inviting, with deep green leaves and lime-colored buds that may also exhibit purple undertones depending on the climate, with exposing the plant to lower temperatures turning the emerald into an abysmal blue with undertones of purple. The Af-Pak buds have a very strong berry scent, reminiscent of some of the best batches of GDP, and the strain boasts a rich, mixed berry terpene profile with a hint of lemon and spice.

It's adaptable to different growing conditions, although it flourishes outdoors where adequate sunlight provides enough energy to produce extensive, trichome-laden flowers. Af-Pak is a robust plant that can grow anywhere and adapt to various weather conditions. Af-Pak has an indoor flowering period of eight to 10 weeks, while outdoor plants mature around mid-October. Growers can expect between 10 to 12 ounces of buds per square meter for indoor plants and an excellent yield of 12 ounces per plant for outdoor plants. Af-Pak is a mostly indica hybrid that produces short, bushy plants thanks to its landrace genetics. While the strain grows well indoors, Af-Pak thrives in outdoor gardens where it easily withstands pests, molds, disease, and varied growing conditions. Af-Pak flowers in 56 to 70 days indoors and mid-to-late October outdoors. In ideal conditions, the cultivar produces around 12 ounces of bud per plant. Af-Pak plants grow to an average height of 7 feet tall.
