Overview
Acid is a cannabis strain created by Paradise Seeds, derived from the genetics of New York Sour Diesel and bred as a 60% indica/40% sativa hybrid. The breeders selected a Diesel mother plant and crossed it with their favorite Dutch genetics to create Acid, one of their next generation strains. The strain earned recognition by winning 3rd Best Indoor-Grown Flower at Spain's 2016 Copa THC Valencia. Acid produces medium to large-sized flowers with a pronounced spade-like shape, featuring a tight, dense indica-dominant structure with dark mossy green leaves twisted through with curly brown pistils. The strain displays a complex aromatic profile with a slightly acidic citrus tang, strong musky base notes reminiscent of damp soil and incense, while breaking apart the dense nugs releases the astringent gasoline fumes characteristic of its Diesel lineage. Named after the psychoactive substance LSD due to its ability to produce psychedelic experiences, Acid offers balanced effects with a very complex aroma profile.
