The 1985 Skunk #1 IBL represents a preserved inbred line of the legendary Skunk #1 genetics from the 1980s era. This particular line combines two different vintage 1980s Skunk #1 lines, with the female chosen from what is believed to be extremely early Sensi Seeds stock that may actually be even older stock derived from Sacred Seeds genetics, labeled "1985 SS Skunk". Skunk #1 was originally released by Sacred Seeds and later through Cultivator's Choice, and remains one of the most important hybrid creations in cannabis history. The original Skunk #1 was bred using diverse genetics from around the world, with Afghani, Acapulco Gold, and Colombian Gold varieties converged through an intricate selective breeding process that spanned several generations.
