1979 Xmas Bud
1979 Xmas Bud
Also known as: '79 Xmas Bud, Xmas Bud 1979, Christmas Bud
Overview
1979 Xmas Bud is a reproduction of the pure '79 Xmas Bud from the east coast that can be traced back to 1979, the year it was either imported or discovered. The strain is an unknown afghani that was grown outdoors, which makes sense because it only came around at the end of the growing season (nov/dec). This pure Indica style plant grows like a Christmas Tree and smells of Pinene & Terpinolene and is considered extremely stable phenotypically. The strain was originally shared by NdNguy as part of preservation efforts within the cannabis community, making it a rare heirloom variety that has been maintained through dedicated preservation projects.

Growing Information
Can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with flowering time of ±60 days (8-9 weeks). Keep an eye out for occasional hermaphrodites as these are open pollinated for preservation purposes and not selected seeds. Plants are very short and dense with strong Pine smell, may need longer veg time and require low humidity to prevent bud rot. Better acclimated for outdoor cultivation as it's an older strain. Difficulty level is moderate due to potential hermaphrodite traits and specific environmental needs.
