00 Cheese is a feminized cannabis strain developed by Spanish seed bank 00 Seeds Bank, belonging to the Skunk genetics family and characterized by its strong aroma of aged cheese. This strain represents the breeder's interpretation of the famous UK Cheese lineage, which originated as a unique phenotype of Skunk #1 discovered in the United Kingdom during the late 1980s. The original UK Cheese emerged when an unknown grower found a particularly aromatic phenotype among Skunk #1 seeds that possessed a distinctive cheesy scent not seen in regular Skunk plants. This cutting eventually reached The Exodus Collective, becoming known as Exodus Cheese or UK Cheese, and gained enormous popularity in the UK cannabis scene throughout the 1990s.
